Benchmark Capital has acquired a residential development site in Northbridge, expanding its investment pipeline across Sydney’s tightly held Lower North Shore.
Positioned close to Northbridge Plaza and the local town centre, the site benefits from established amenity, connectivity to the Sydney CBD and a strong surrounding residential market.
The acquisition reflects Benchmark Capital’s strategy of identifying opportunities in established locations where land scarcity, strong owner-occupier demand and limited new housing supply provide compelling investment fundamentals.
Plans for the site will focus on a boutique residential development designed to respond to the character of Northbridge and the needs of the local owner-occupier and downsizer market.
Fawaz Sankari, CEO of Benchmark Capital, said:
“Northbridge has many of the characteristics we look for when assessing an opportunity: scarcity, strong amenity, connectivity and a deep owner-occupier market. Our focus is on identifying locations where the underlying fundamentals give us confidence in the investment over the long term.”
The project will now progress through design and planning as part of Benchmark Capital’s growing residential investment pipeline.
Embark on a rewarding investment journey with a leader in Australian property development.
